2-in-1 International Recipe Card Collection: Classic (1977)

OK, I don’t remember anything about this cocktail. Because I mixed this one up about a year ago. Thankfully, I found my blog notebook, which I thought was lost forever. So here are my musings:

Frosted glasses are so pretty!
No Maraschino cherry–had a strawberry.
This is okay, I’m not a huge fan of Brandy.
Mr. Sauce, Esq. says, “so-so.”
I’m obsessed with colored light bulbs. I went to Party City when it was closing. I should have bought more.

Ah, pure poetry right there. Why did I even bother taking the notes? Maybe it’ll be better next time (probably not).

An update from a few posts ago:

I broke down and bought Heated Rivalry merch. It is a Metros sweatshirt. I love it. It’s subtle.

Perhaps too subtle.

I’ve worn it out twice in Baltimore, hoping someone will clock it, and we can become best friends!

But no.

I also wore it the last time I was in Atlantic City, and NOTHING. No one noticed.

I should also note that my dear friend Dillon told me that the sweatshirt is “good season 1 merch” because, in the second book (at the time of purchase, I had not finished), things go awry between Shane and the Metros.

So we (the collective we) hate the Metros.

People, I now live in a world where a fandom is encouraging me to boycott a fictional hockey team.

Send help.

At least I’m not one of the women who got a tattoo. They’re gonna get kicked out of the club.
