Beverage Bonus: Tequila Sunrise

Yesterday, during the winter storm, I thought that I could use a little ray of sunshine.

Tequila Sunrise

Yeah, that’ll do the trick!

How lucky am I that I just happened to have orange juice, grenadine, and tequila on hand?

tequila!

I was still drinking from this bottle of tequila that Mr. Buckeye brought back from Mexico back in October! It is never-ending.

Tequila Sunrise

Pretty, pastel, frosty goodness!

What else was never-ending? My snow day. I fell asleep 3 different times while watching The Good Wife on Amazon Prime. It is my new binge-watching show.

Over the duration of my snow day I drank about four of these puppies.

Hence, the bottle of tequila is no longer never-ending. It is now no more.

Don’t judge me.

What else was I going to do, something productive like cleaning out my inbox or organizing my sock drawer?

But! At least I got creative and changed up the glassware. Look how pretty my cocktail is against the winter snow:

The weather outside is frightful, but the tequila’s so delightful. Since I got no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

That is a great picture of the snow. I miss cloudy days and rain so much. They say Feb. we may get some needed rain but I washed my car as my dance to the rain Gods just in case. As much as I love the ingredients to Tequila Sunrises I do not like them. Then again I did only have them with crappy tequila, I may have to try it again if my BF ever leaves me enough to have some. Stay warm!

  3. OMG, I have orange juice, grenadine, and tequila on hand! I don’t have a jigger though. Freehand pouring it is!

Considering that whenever a snow storm hits the city and the first aisle to be raided at the grocery store is the one with booze, I’d say you’re in good company. Except yours looks PRO. Nice ‘tending skillz you’ve got there!
