It’s now a Christmas tradition–my Easy Nog video.

But this time, I’m also sharing the recipe from the Three Rivers Cookbook I (1973)

I mean, it truly is easy.

And it may also kill you.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

  • I always find it interesting to see what recipes are signed with things like "The Committee." It shows what they felt the book absolutely needed to have in it-- even if no one happened to send it in. And I love that the Committee of Three Rivers felt like the charity cookbook was incomplete without eggnog that is over half liquor by volume.

  • Just showed this to Mr R and he says, “She’s the American you!” Hahahah! I so want to make some Easy Eggnog. Once this shitstorm is over I am DOING IT!

  • Egg nog goals for new year’s! Merry Christmas Yinzerella- thank you for sharing the terrific vintage recipes and your wonderful humor!

  • It sounds delish! I wonder who makes up "The Committee"? I'm picturing people in black hoods that meet in a cave.
