I had a lovely holiday break and I hope that you had some time off, too. As one typically does, I made a new year’s resolution. Mine is to post once a week on the blog. It may be the only way I can motivate myself to cook through the rest of the cards.

If you soak the peach halves in brandy and add a little chantilly cream or ice cream -- nah, still bullshit. ; ) You're absolutely spot on; this is a very beige dinner. Needs some sort of nifty sauce and maybe it would be salvageable. Love that you didn't even bother with the garnishes.
