If you are a regular reader, then you know that I love me a good party punch. Seriously, if I throw a party–there will be punch.
I cannot recommend making a party punch enough. Have wine, beer, and punch. You just fill it up throughout the evening and add frozen fruit to chill it and it can be served in any type of glass.
The last punch was one of my own design:
But here are some other punches from the past!
I figured for sure this post was about punching people at parties, which I have not actually done myself, but have definitely considered on the rare occasion and could fully understand the desire to do so in others when rudeness prevails.
That said, making party punches sounds much more cool. I will have to consider this this next time we have a party. We tried making a “fun” holiday drink one time (providing the alcohol, mixers, and recipe on a fancy card), but I think most people were scared off by it.
I had stupidly allowed my parents’ punch set to go in their estate sale. After reading your blog for a few years, I set out to replace it. Finally scored an unopened (and complete — theirs was missing a cup and the ladle) version of theirs at our local Out of the Closet. Of course, I haven’t had an occasion to use it yet — must make that right (after the foster puppies go up for adoption).
Vive la punch! 😉
Foster puppies!
Adoption will totally be a reason to celebrate with some punch.
