Since it looks as though I may never complete the DiS! card set, I might as well meet some of the goals I’ve made for myself–so I am plowing through the Impossible Pie recipes before the end of the year.
I made this Bisquick pie for a party over the summer.
Yes, you heard that right. I made it this summer.
But whatever. It’s done. And with much better results than the Impossible Brownie Pie (thank you, sweet baby Jesus).
The end result: not bad! The bisquick didn’t all settle in the bottom and make an impossible crust, but it held together, wasn’t a bizarre texture, and it tasted pretty much like a cheesecake. So I chalked this one up as a win.
Here is a picture form the party. you can see the cheesecake and the Smuckers in the middle of the table.
Good times.
Note: I have one Impossible Pie in the queue to write about. And only 2 more to make. Bets on whether or not I can make them all by December 31?
Seeing people in tank tops and summer clothes makes me miss summer.
Of course you will make all the pies! You are TOO CLOSE not to.
You will complete the task. More crazy pies. I love it.
YAY! After witnessing the failure that was indeed the Impossible Brownie Pie, I was hoping that the other one turned out better. Then again, the paltry amount of chocolate (not even any FUDGE!) in that “brownie” still has me…well, not angry, but…disturbed. Dammit, BROWNIES HAVE CHOCOLATE AND/OR FUDGE!!!
You can do ‘eet! Always love the double entendre’s found in your blog!
