Hello, friends.
I’ve been a little behind lately, and for that I apologize. I’ve been busy and tired and sick (some all at the same time), and I just wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgotten about the blog and that there will be some great meals coming up soon. For instance:
- the reveal of what you voted as my half-way point meal!
- my first co-dinner with a Dinner is Served! reader
- a Jell-O mold, which I made specifically for my office autumn pot luck
- more adventures in shellfish
- pickles wrapped in meat!
Amiright? He’s a vision of cuteness! But, of course, that moment was fleeting and he reverted back to this:
Which is totally WTF face. But in a lounging position. It’s a more relaxed WTF, if you will.
Anyway, I will have a brand-spankin’ new post soon and it’s a big one because it’s the halfway there! meal.
In the meantime, become a fan of Dinner is Served 1972 on Facebook–that’s updated daily with food, music, fashion, and fun from the past.
And since it’s a rainy-type day I’m gonna give you one of my all-time favorite songs which is totally a rainy day song. Although it’s actually about nuclear devastation. Which makes it all the more bizarre that they used this song in NFL commercials.
Come, come nuclear bomb, indeed!
I hope you’re feeling well enough to come to my mom’s sale tomorrow and pick up some retro digs. If not, I’ll just put some stuff aside for you
That sucks that you have been sick!!! Can’t wait to see the upcoming posts!
I haven’t been sick sick. Just a little off. Although I tell ya that I’m super-nauseous right now. I blame Greek yogurt. That’s what I get for trying to eat healthy.
I can’t wait to hear all about the Pot Roast from the Motherland!
i hope that brian is being sympathetic to your not feeling well….can’t wait for the halfway point meal…i know it will be outstanding!
