Mexican Sherry Gelatin Dessert

Hola, kittens!

Today on my youtube channel I posted a brand-spankin’ new video.

In it I make a packet of sherry-flavored gelatin and try my hand at solo shooting and editing.

Please be kind–I’m rusty and youtube is really basic. I’m looking for a better editing option, but at the moment this is what I got.

Also, please let me know in the comments if you are interested in seeing more of me in videos or if you prefer me just blogging on this site like I have been.

Cheers!

  1. MOAR videos–they are HI-LARIOUS! While, as you put it, are still at the basic stage, I find it refreshing.

  2. Solo filming is the worst! But well done. I find iMovie intuitive enough for my purposes, if you have access to that.

Unmolding tip – dip the bottom of the mold in an inch of hot water, then run the knife around, THEN flip 🙂

    1. I will see if iMovie is an option. Thanks for the tip!
I had pre-dipped the mold before filming, but it may have re-gelled (OF COURSE).

        1. I’ve never seen Everybody Loves Raymond, but I do know the bit about the Big Fork & Spoon.
My mum bought me those. I love them.

  3. YES. We want more videos. Definitely!

Who is on the T-shirt? A young Tony Curtis?

Ha ha, “not in a good way, like in a menopause way”!

That would be considered a very LARGE glass of sherry here in the UK…

    1. It’s Joey McIntyre from NKOTB.
The shirt is an original from 1989!

OK, I will definitely keep videos in the rotation even though I have to do them myself 🙂

      That was a big glass….?
